Wk2 - Research on the Cooper Union

The 41 Cooper Union is an Academic building for Advanced Science and Art, designed by Morphosis, located in New York, USA.

The building presents optimistic intention to provide an education “as free as water and air” in commitment to Peter Cooper and has subsequently grown to become a renowned intellectual and cultural center for the City of New York.

It has a sharp and folded perforated-stainless-steel shell with an aggressive gash in its main facade.
